AIFF x SIX5SIX | The Idea Behind Team India's 2022-23 Kits

AIFF x SIX5SIX Jerseys 2022-23: Being dubbed as the 'Blue Tigers' for the past 3 years, the Indian Football Team had tiger stripes as their identity. While the main idea was to stick with the identity, we knew that the fans wanted something new this time.

Also, we knew we had to make something special for the U17 Women's team who made their debut and hosted the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup.

"I thought it was high time to come out of the tiger stripes without loosing the tiger identity. After an in depth research and development, I came out with the illusion type design with the tiger face hiding inside the lines," said the mind behind the kits, Muhammad BILAL. 

Unleash The Animal

It’s time for the blue tigers to come face to face with their rivals/opponents. This design represents the courage and the strength that the blue tigers have to take on everyone. The tiger face has been digitised and structured in a way to create a print of the face of the tiger. 

While it seems like a normal striped pattern when you look at it from up close; to the opponents it will look like a ferocious tiger is running towards them from a distance.

AIFF x SIX5SIX | Home Kit | Iris Blue

Team India Home Kit 2022-23
The Iris Bue Home Kit was settled upon after taking fan recommendations. It comes with the sublime Aeroplus+ technology which is a very light weight fabric.
This fabric pull moisture via a process known as capillary action that draw sweat away from the skin, onto the fabric, and allow it to evaporate on the surface of the material rather than on the skin itself.
In addition to that, the kit also has a 3D heat seal silicon SIX5SIX authenticity label with hologram and barcode, open-hole fabric that help staying cool in high-heat zones. It is made with 100% recycled soft polyester fibers for maximum comfort.

AIFF x SIX5SIX | Away Kit | Vermilion

Team India Away Kit 2022-23

A tiger's identity is represented by it's colours. The black stripes over the vermilion colour is what sets it apart from the other animals. Keeping that in mind and continuing the tradition of keeping orange as Team India's secondary colour, the away kit was designed in Vermilion.

Just like the home kit, the away kit comes with a 3D heat seal silicon SIX5SIX authenticity label with hologram and barcode, open-hole fabric that help staying cool in high-heat zones. It is made with 100% recycled soft polyester fibers for maximum comfort.
